Luz Marina was born in the state of Goiás and has moved to Brasilia years ago. In Brasília the capital of Brazil, she attends the atelier Studio Art M D’Azevedo, where she develops most of her artworks. She expands her theoretical and practical knowledge on art by attending workshops and various studios across the city, such as the Instituto de Cooperação e Assistência Técnica (ICAT), the STARTS Center of Art, and the artist Moema Müller’s workshop, among others, nourishes her creations.
The artist's works consist in abstract compositions, resulting from the rigorous poetics she develops upon line, form and play of colors.
She participates regularly in exhibitions, with over a dozen of participations in collective events, where her works are one of the main features, as well as individual exhibitions.
