Artist Statement

I am a French (Lorraine, born in Sarreguemines), and I paint since 1990.
I started painting with Madame France Schwieder, then followed courses with Messrs Hubert Riff, Rolf Viva (one of the best German painters), and Michel Duparchy.
I express myself in abstract - sometimes with a hint of figurative - in oil and acrylic.
I exhibited in France: Paris (Place des Vosges, Saint Germain des Prés, Arc de Triomphe, Carrousel du Louvres), Forbach, Sarreguemines, Freyming-Merlebach, St Avold, Stiring-Wendel, Strasbourg, Colmar, Mulhouse, Dijon, near Avignon, Giverny, Honfleur, Metz.
Internationally, I performed in Brazil (Sao Paulo), the USA (New York, Palm Spring), Austria (Vienna), Germany (Berlin, Prüm, Sarrebrück, Pütlingen, Freyburg im Breisgau, Völklingen) , Italy (Palermo, Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, Padua), Holland (Amsterdam), Spain (Barcelona), Monaco.
I had many prizes, as well as trophies and plaquettes in Rome, Monaco, Florence, Palermo.
I'm part of Who's Who International, ADAL (Lorraine artists), Têt 'de l'Art gallery in Forbach.
In June 2015 I had the Bronze Medal "Arts-Sciences-Lettres" in Paris, then in June 2017 the Medal of tin.
I paint without support, following my intuition based on my experience and my emotional. I go on an adventure, and I am often surprised at the emotion and the sensitivity that I manage to express. Painting exists only through the eyes of others, sometimes indifferent, or critical, but sometimes admiring, thus arousing intense communions ...
"The mission of Art is not to copy Nature, but to express it" (Honoré de Balzac).
